Volunteering at the Center for Wildlife Education is a fun and rewarding way to get involved, learn about native wildlife, and support environmental education. Whether you’re passionate about animals, enjoy working with the public, or just want to give back to your community, we’d love to have you on our team.

If you’re interested in volunteering, stop by the front desk to pick up a volunteer packet. All volunteers are required to complete an application and pass a background check before getting started.
- The Wildlife Center does not sign off on volunteer hours for class credit, projects, community service hours, or court mandated work.
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
- Background investigations are required on all Wildlife Center volunteers.
If you are a student at Georgia Southern University, we strongly encourage you to register with Volunteer Services on campus. For more information, contact Volunteer Services at 912-478-7270 or visit their office.
